Born and raised in Macon, GA, Anson McMahon is a passionate instructor, founding pastor of Emmaus Church in Buford, GA, and a devoted follower of Christ. With over 20 years of experience in pastoral ministry, Anson has devoted his life to teaching the Word of God and serving the local church. He is deeply influenced by the timeless teachings of Charles Spurgeon, which continue to shape his approach to ministry and instruction.

Anson has been married to his wife, Heather, for more than two decades, and together they are the proud parents of two daughters. Outside of his pastoral duties, Anson enjoys the simple pleasures of life, including indulging in Milk Duds, rocking out to 80's music, and cheering for his beloved University of Georgia Bulldogs. His heart for both his family and the local church makes him a dedicated and compassionate leader, committed to nurturing both spiritual growth and strong community connections.
