The Founder. The Teacher.

Dr. Charles Frazier Stanley was the founder of In Touch Ministries and senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia, where he served more than 50 years (1969–2020). Often referred to as America’s Pastor, Stanley was known and loved throughout the world for his unwavering mission to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. With a passion for God and compassion for people, Stanley modeled his 65 years of ministry after the apostle Paul’s message in Acts 20:24: “Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.”

The Charles Stanley Institute was the last big project Dr. Stanley signed off on before he met his Savior face to face.

In them, you’ll learn the background of the Scripture passages Dr. Stanley’s messages are based on—discovering how to study the Word as he did so you can become the disciple God created you to be.

You can view these in the online learning environment of each class on the “Study Guide” tab under the video, download them to your computer or tablet, or print them out to record your notes.
