The Charles Stanley Institute is a free online learning platform founded on Dr. Stanley’s rich, Christ-centered messages—some of which have not been broadcast in decades.

How did Dr. Stanley draw so much insight from God’s Word? How could he glean so much from the pages of Scripture and explain it all so clearly? Study Guides have been designed to answer these questions and help you dig into the important topics of the faith he taught about. In them, you’ll learn the background of the Scripture passages Dr. Stanley’s messages are based on—discovering how to study the Word as he did so you can become the disciple God created you to be.

The Charles Stanley Institute Leader Guides are designed to help you dive into the text more profoundly by describing the context and background of the passages you're studying. Filled with additional commentary and discussion prompts, you can use them to learn together with a small group or deepen your own time in Scripture.

Dr. Charles Frazier Stanley was the founder of In Touch Ministries and senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia, where he served more than 50 years (1969–2020). Often referred to as America’s Pastor, Stanley was known and loved throughout the world for his unwavering mission to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. With a passion for God and compassion for people, Stanley modeled his 65 years of ministry after the apostle Paul’s message in Acts 20:24: “Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.”

The Charles Stanley Institute was the last big project Dr. Stanley signed off on before he met his Savior face to face.
